Why Groundtruthing?

Too often our information regarding important issues and resources is filtered through political, economic, and media channels, with skewed interpretations and biased assessments.

Groundtruthing is a worldwide citizen effort to establish quality ecological data and grass-roots media by discovering conditions on the ground and reporting the reality of a situation that, all to often, some would prefer us to ignore.
